Johannesburg – The head of India’s biggest music label T-Series Managing Director Bhushan Kumar Booked A Rape, official sources said on Friday. The filmmaker has issued a statement on allegations of rape against its chairman and director Bushan Kumar.

The statement said Kumar’s claim was “completely false and dangerous”. It also states that the police complaint filed by the complainant “is not just an objection” to the complaint filed by the T-Series on July 1 this year “against him and his colleagues on a robbery charge”.

The official statement from T-Series reads, “The complaint lodged against Mr Bhushan Kumar is completely false and dangerous and the same content is denied.

Mumbai police have registered an FIR submitted by an aspiring actor who claims to have been raped by Kumar.

According to an official at the DN Nagar police station in Andheri, the 30-year-old victim has told the FIR that he was sexually assaulted and raped several times between 2017 and 2020 in a bid to give her roles in films.

As Mumbai Police registered a MOTO installed by the newly formed anti-music bar Bar Kumar, the serious problem of placing a sofa also raised a headache.

The complaint against the T-Series head honcho, however, the victim has chosen not to disclose his identity on social media or any other forum and has lodged a police complaint.
