ISLAMABAD: The daughter of Pakistan’s former ambassador to South Korea was assassinated in Islamabad on Tuesday, police said, adding that the assailant has been apprehended. Ex-ambassador’s daughter was killed in Islamabad.
The murder occurred in the city’s affluent F-7 neighbourhood, according to the First Information Report (FIR). Noor Mukadam, the deceased’s daughter, was the daughter of former diplomat Shaukat Mukadam. She was killed after being struck by a sharp item.
The individual suspected of being involved in her murder has been apprehended, according to police. He’s rumoured to be the son of a business magnate. More research is being carried out.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, a spokesperson for the Foreign Office, denounced the event and extended his sympathies.
“Deeply devastated by the murder of a senior colleague and former Pakistanis ambassador’s daughter; my condolences to the lost loved ones; I hope the culprit of this horrible act will be brought to justice,” the spokesperson said on Twitter, by using hashtag #JusticeForNoor.
